Christmas 2010
I love Christmas.  I could blog for days about the joys of Christmas before having children and now that I have two little men, the fun has increased tremendously!  So to save you from reading a novel about our Christmas , here are the top five things I love about the season.  I love them all so much, they are hard to rank, so may no attention to the order: 1. Wrapping presents.  I love it!  I...

Christmas came early...
I got this AMAZING gift: From this wonderful man (here he is pictured as dad of the year with Luke): I have still been in cell phone stone age (with T9 texting and all) up until now.  I am super excited!  I just had to tell someone. ps - That is not my hand in the top picture.  I found the picture on the internet.  I know.  Cheating.

I did it.  I tried Hot Yoga.   I was definitely the worst one in the class.   And I really sweated a lot.   At one point my arms were shaking and I thought they might just fall off.   And today my shoulders and arms are really sore.   But, I loved it.   And I plan to do it again.   Hopefully every week.   As for my list of 29 things, 7 are completed.  I am currently working on three.  And...

Atlanta Fun, part 2
I adore Dali. I adore art.  And museums.  And the quiet that exists there.  The marble floors and little signs. I love it all.   And since children, I haven’t been once.   The High Museum was a great way to jump back in.   And Dali was the perfect exhibit for the day.

The Annual Mall Visit
Most people take their kids to see Santa for Christmas.   I, however, have chosen another route:  That’s right.  Macy’s Pink Pig. A terrifying amount of pink.  And this interesting sign (read #7).   But fun nonetheless!

#28 - Check.
Become more paperless at school.  Have students email lab reports. My list is coming right along.  My grading pile however…never ending.

The newest member of our household: That’s right.  A new washing machine.  My beautiful new washer.  An $800 machine, for the bargain price of $250.  That’s right my couponing friends, you’re impressed.  I put together a good deal, a 10% off coupon, money off due to delivery issues, and a rebate check for the energy efficiency.   Luke has already started breaking it in....

Highs and Lows
I like to play this dinner game: highs and lows. This week my low was scarlet fever.  Tuesday I was diagnosed with this dreadful sounding disease.  Not to worry, I’m not on my death bed.  Oh the wonders of modern medicine! High: There are so many that I just going to classify them as Christmas.  It is getting cold out side and bright indoors. Luke helped me with the tree. My little...
