Busy Season

We are getting closer and closer to Christmas.  It has been so enjoyable to have little helpers this year.  

They continue to help me shop (I enlist others helpers too when possible):
And help me at the post office (remembering that two boys, plus boxes, plus many rushed and impatient people makes the post office a most difficult task. Perhaps one of the most difficult tasks with little people.):
And help wrapping.  And with wrapping paper wars (in Publix - because we’re those people):
They however did not help me send 120 Christmas cards to my students.  Or 100 Battle
of the Bands holiday cards.  And their lack of help with this task was also appreciated:
In other news, I’m enjoying not having grad school.  I’m super excited to have family come to me for Christmas for the first time ever.  I’m looking forward to more family in Hot-lanta, which I fear will be cold.  And only ten days until the Avett Brothers concert/girls trip.  Holler!
Trying to rest up before all of the excitement.  Luke is intent on resting in Drew’s pajamas these days.  Hilarious…and not a battle I chose to fight.
